Top SchoolJacques Smuts is a software leader and former scientist with 10 years of hands-on mobile development experience who now runs PJH Technologies as CEO. He cut his teeth building and shipping Android and iOS apps across startups like Nomanini, Flat Circle and Piccing, often owning feature delivery end-to-end from planning to analytics. Trained in applied chemistry and later computer science, he brings a researcher's curiosity to engineering—often favoring pragmatic, well-documented solutions. Obsessed with Android but comfortable across mobile platforms, he pairs technical depth with entrepreneurial drive rooted in South Africa’s Western Cape. Notably, his career path includes patent research and early legal studies, giving him a rare blend of technical, product and IP-minded perspectives.
