Senior🎓
Top SchoolJaelson De Carvalho is a Senior Software Developer and team lead based in Montreal with a decade of experience building high-throughput, event-driven backend systems and polished front-end experiences. He specializes in Java and JavaScript ecosystems—Spring Boot, Kafka, React and Node—architecting scalable ETL and real-time social features that serve millions across 70,000+ jukebox communities. Equally comfortable setting platform standards and shipping product-facing UI, he has driven Infrastructure-as-Code libraries, micro-frontend frameworks, and Golden Path documentation to accelerate teams. A pragmatic engineering leader, he blends hands-on coding with mentoring, cross-squad collaboration, and operational rigor (caching, observability, testing) to maintain low-latency, reliable systems. Notably, his work spans deep systems engineering (event processing, token/rate-limit strategies) and developer experience improvements that reduce cognitive load for product teams.
