Summary
👤
Senior🎓
Top SchoolJaime Gago is a platform engineer with over a decade of hands-on experience designing and modernizing cloud-native infrastructure and observability at scale, most recently joining LGT Digital Factory after several impactful roles at Apple. He has led large observability migrations and built container autoscaling and metrics systems using Go, gRPC, Prometheus, Thanos, and IaC patterns, consistently reducing operational friction and lead time. Jaime pairs academic-grade engineering rigor—evident from high-performance media processing work at Stanford—with practical production instincts honed across startups and enterprise environments. Based in Barcelona, he’s an advocate for open source tooling and has a track record of evangelizing and training teams during platform transformations. Less obvious: he balances deep systems optimization with user-focused delivery, having implemented automation that dramatically sped up multi-gigabyte video encoding and operational workflows.
