Top SchoolJairo Da Rocha is a senior IT consultant with 11 years of experience specializing in geospatial platforms, web systems and distributed data collection for environmental research. He builds end-to-end monitoring and storage solutions for climate towers and geospatial alert platforms, combining PHP/CodeIgniter and REST architectures with Python web scraping and R-based geoprocessing. Currently consulting for EcoStage and researching at LAPIG, he has hands-on field IT experience from University of Leeds and long-term work with IPAM’s Tanguro and Carboncal projects. Beyond development, he maintains web portals and server operations while shaping database design and data communication for sensor networks—skills that bridge journalism teams, researchers and engineers.
