Jak Koke is a versatile writer and content strategist with 7 years of documented technical-content experience and a decades-long career as a published novelist, including bestselling Shadowrun novels. He has led editorial and content efforts for major tech brands—most notably multiple stints at Microsoft—where he edited Azure and SQL documentation, reviewed GitHub pull requests, and managed large-scale, multi-site content programs. Jak combines storytelling craft with practical content engineering, having built style guides, DHTML templates, and optimized knowledge bases to measurably improve self-service support and SEO. He has run small publishing operations, managed cross-functional teams, and written marketing keynotes and technical scripts for video. Based in Austin, he brings a rare blend of creative authorship and rigorous documentation practice that helps translate complex technical topics into clear, customer-facing content. An unusual strength: he pairs novelist-level narrative instincts with metrics-driven content strategy to boost both engagement and findability.
