Top SchoolJake Bown is a seasoned technology leader with 12 years’ experience, currently Head of Tech and Innovation at Reech, where he helps teams ship reliable web platforms and turn messy operational data into usable intelligence. A full‑stack developer by background, he now focuses on pragmatic platform architecture, delivery optimization, reusable components and automation—often around WordPress, API-driven integrations and SaaS tooling. Jake blends hands‑on engineering with delivery coaching to improve throughput via clearer ways of working, tooling and capacity visibility. He explores AI and RAG approaches to make internal knowledge searchable and actionable, and routinely prototypes product ideas—most notably SongPostcard.com, a music‑gift SaaS that marries creativity with scalable infrastructure. Based in Shrewsbury, he balances agency, startup and product experience, delivering solutions for brands like Jaguar Land Rover and Pearson while staying active in side projects and open source.
