Senior🎓
Top SchoolJake Broughton is a Senior Software Engineer with 11+ years of full-stack web experience, currently helping drive product and platform work at Seqera Labs after leading frontend and backend efforts at Kraken's Cryptowatch. Comfortable in startup environments and hybrid teams, he combines pragmatic engineering—reducing tech debt, optimizing performance, and introducing Tailwind—with hands-on backend work in Go and a knack for shipping subscription and payments features. Based in Barcelona, he brings the communication skills of a multilingual (English/French/Spanish) collaborator who values deep, distraction-free focus and long-term teammate relationships. Energetic about AI adoption, Jake pairs creative problem-solving with disciplined output and a preference for meaningful test projects over timed live coding.
