Top SchoolJake Chen is a strategy and business operations lead at Waymo with eight years of experience at the intersection of technology, analytics, and go-to-market strategy. He combines a consulting background at McKinsey and Deloitte with hands-on product and data work—from architecting digital video platforms and customer scoring models to launching mobile and e-commerce products. At Waymo he advises the executive team on pricing, competitive strategy and GTM planning, bringing a blend of quantitative rigor and product sensibility. His cross-functional experience includes program management at Microsoft and analytics roles at HubSpot, giving him a rare fluency in both engineering constraints and commercial outcomes. Passionate about recommendation engines, automotive big data and ML, he often frames business problems through customer lifetime value and social-influence signals. Based in San Francisco with an MBA from MIT Sloan, he’s as comfortable modeling ETLs and OLAP systems as he is shaping enterprise strategy.
