Top SchoolJake Goldman is a veteran web entrepreneur and technologist who has been building web experiences since the 1990s and founded 10up in 2011 to craft elegant, open-platform websites and WordPress solutions. He bootstrapped 10up into a remote-first team of several hundred, delivering high-profile projects for clients like Salesforce, Harvard, and Disney, and contributing major open-source plugins and tools downloaded millions of times. As a Partner at Fueled following a 2023 merger, he blends board-level strategy, hands-on CTO work, and public-facing storytelling to align engineering with commercial goals. Known for advocacy of an open, sustainable web, he has taught at Boston University, written for industry outlets, and helped ship flagship sites such as WhiteHouse.gov and Google’s Site Kit. An uncommon strength is his ability to scale culture and process across globally distributed teams while remaining a prolific contributor to WordPress core and ecosystem projects.
