Top SchoolJake Ryu is a Lead Developer with 11 years of hands-on experience building .NET backend architectures, RESTful APIs and React frontends, currently driving API design and React app delivery at Barnett Waddingham. He has a long track record across finance, automotive and logistics—shipping secure, cloud-native solutions on Azure and AWS using C#, ASP.NET Core, TypeScript and containerization. Jake moved to the UK in 2006 to deliver a national dealer registration system, and that early cross-organisational integration work foreshadows his strength in bridging business and technical stakeholders. He mentors teams, champions clean architecture and TDD, and thrives on turning complex domain problems (pensions, trading, supply chains) into maintainable platforms. Although primarily backend-focused, he maintains a strong frontend skillset with React and Next.js, enabling full-stack ownership across projects.
