Summary
Jakub Majewski is an Assistant Professor and veteran game industry creative with two decades of hands-on experience spanning level and narrative design, production, and creative direction across indie and AAA projects. He combines academic rigor—a PhD on open-world RPGs and cultural heritage—with ongoing freelance consulting and development work, having contributed to around forty published titles. At Kazimierz Wielki University he teaches both practical game-making (Unreal/Unity, level design, quest and narrative design) and game studies, and has supervised over 30 bachelor theses. Equally at home coding in C++/C#/Godot and shaping high-level creative vision, he’s interested in VR and the use of game technology in heritage contexts—an intersection he explored during his doctoral research.
