Top SchoolJames Alliban is a freelance technical artist and creative coder with 12 years’ professional experience translating full-body interaction, tracking systems and generative techniques into large-scale realtime installations, VR experiences and architectural visualisations. Grounded in an academic background in software for the arts and digital practices, he specialises in Unreal Engine pipelines, Niagara VFX, photogrammetry and computer vision to craft playful, immersive environments for clients like Porsche, Microsoft, Nissan and Dubai Expo. James combines hands-on creative programming with environment art and animation, frequently integrating multi-camera and LiDAR tracking to turn human movement into abstract visual systems. He has a track record of delivering robust installations that run reliably in public-facing venues and has exhibited and spoken internationally, reflecting both studio and R&D sensibilities. An early AR app entrepreneur and founder, he brings a product-minded approach to experimental projects, blending technical rigour with a strong visual and narrative sense.
