Top SchoolJames Barrios is an Infrastructure Security Engineer with eight years of experience building resilient, compliance-minded systems for high-stakes environments, now focused on secure wallet infrastructure at DFNS. He formerly led PASSI/PASSI LPM engagements and PwC’s SOC and incident response efforts, bringing deep expertise in defense-grade audit, CTI, DFIR and red team operations. Comfortable at the crossroads of engineering and operations, he has a strong hands-on background in high-availability networking, private cloud (OpenStack/Ceph), automation (Ansible, GitLab CI) and applied ML for monitoring from earlier roles. Based in Paris, he pairs an engineering degree from CentraleSupélec and an MBA with experience scaling student-run ISPs to enterprise-class availability, reflecting a rare blend of technical rigor, process-driven security, and people leadership. He’s pragmatic about key management and custody—publicly advocating “don’t DIY” for crypto custody—while shipping developer-friendly security building blocks.
