Top SchoolJames Cheese is a Senior Full Stack .NET Developer based in Lancaster with 11 years of experience building and operating everything from embedded IoT firmware to cloud-hosted web platforms. He blends strong backend C#/.NET and Python skills with front-end React/JavaScript experience, and has repeatedly delivered real-time systems such as a video conferencing and audio-transcription pipeline while maintaining CI/CD and hybrid cloud infrastructure. James has deep database and GIS integration experience across PostgreSQL/PostGIS, Informix and SQL Server, and practical ops knowledge managing Salt, Docker, Jenkins/Octopus and Bitbucket Pipelines. As a former technical lead he mentors engineers, drives tech migrations, and designs remote device management and monitoring systems — a mix that surfaces both system-level thinking and hands-on coding. He also brings atypical breadth from early low-level work on XScale/NesC and IoT firmware through to modern web stacks, and speaks basic French and German.
