👤
SeniorJames Cridland is an editor and industry strategist with 15+ years at the intersection of traditional radio and new media, currently leading Podnews and the Podcast Business Journal. He has launched and grown profitable collaborative media platforms (media.info), helped build hybrid radio technologies (RadioDNS) and shaped product strategy at the BBC and Virgin Radio, consistently turning technical innovation into measurable audience and revenue gains. An advisor to podcast hosting and tooling firms, he combines hands-on coding and product work with conference-facing thought leadership—regularly briefing broadcasters like the BBC, NPR and CBC. Based in Queensland, Australia, he’s known for pragmatic collaboration, international networks, and an ability to translate radio’s craft into modern digital platforms (and he’ll happily talk about it over a beer).
