Top SchoolJames Drummond is a Solutions Architect with nine years’ experience translating complex business needs into robust IT solutions, primarily within oil & energy and commercial services. He combines hands-on SQL and CRM administration expertise with strategic pre-sales architecture, regularly leading proposals, governance reviews, and partner collaborations to ensure technical and commercial fit. His background progressing from data analyst and CRM SME to systems manager gives him a rare blend of deep data/BI skills and practical IT operations knowledge, including Azure device management and SOX-compliant change control. Based in the Greater Southampton area, he is comfortable operating at the intersection of business, commercial teams and technical architects to drive measurable improvements and competitive advantage. An early-career placement at ExxonMobil and long tenure owning CRM upgrades hint at a pragmatic, security-aware approach to large-scale systems.
