Top SchoolJames Dube is a Systems Development Specialist with 11 years’ experience designing and operating resilient, high-throughput telecom and enterprise systems from Harare, Zimbabwe. He has driven large-scale initiatives at Econet Wireless Zimbabwe—building a REST API gateway handling millions of daily recharge transactions, containerising legacy apps with k3s and CI/CD to cut deploy times to one minute, and replacing physical recharge cards with a microservices virtual wallet that slashed printing costs. A Linux and open-source enthusiast, he champions automation and DevOps culture, and has built productivity frameworks (Spring Boot) and Go-based load-testing tools that accelerated developer output and validated million-user flows. Comfortable across system administration, virtualization, messaging, and observability stacks, he combines hands-on engineering with a knack for pragmatic, cost-conscious solutions that scale.
