Top SchoolJames Honnor is an Account Director in education with 11 years’ experience driving revenue growth and strategic partnerships across public and private sector IT accounts. He combines deep expertise in technical sales, tendering and full-channel lifecycle management with a proven track record of winning competitive RFQs and revitalising dormant accounts to unlock six-figure pipelines. Comfortable leading virtual teams, James has consistently scaled major accounts for vendors like Microsoft, Dell, HPE and Cisco while translating complex software and infrastructure offerings into clear value for HE and FE institutions. His background in mathematical sciences underpins a data-driven approach to forecasting and account profiling, helping him spot high-value opportunities others overlook. Equally at ease with vendor programme management and hands-on bid responses, he blends relationship-building finesse with tactical execution. Based in York, he pairs commercial ambition with a collaborative style that positions organisations as preferred partners in education IT.
