Top SchoolJames Land is a Principal Software Engineer with over a decade at Red Hat, specializing in architecting AI-driven and Kubernetes-native solutions on OpenShift. He blends deep hands-on skills in containerization, microservices and CI/CD (ArgoCD, Tekton, Terraform, GitHub Actions) with a pragmatic “Contract-First” approach that speeds Greenfield integrations and reduces runtime friction. As Tech Lead for the open-source Composer AI project, he has translated AI research into production-ready full-stack components while mentoring teams and shaping enterprise cloud journeys. James is known for bridging dev and ops through clear communication and centralized, extensible pipelines that scale across customers. Based in Richmond, VA, he pairs enterprise consulting experience with practical tooling-focused teaching—publishing labs and videos to share best practices beyond his Red Hat work.
