Top SchoolJames Langley is a seasoned technology leader with nine years of senior IT transformation experience and a wider career rooted in military-grade command of complex programmes. As Director of Innovation at Leidos he drives cloud adoption, SaaS supply-chain solutions and cost-saving performance improvements for MOD logistics, having previously removed decades of technical debt across large-scale ERP, inventory and analytics platforms. He combines strategic financial accountability with hands-on delivery—leading multi-disciplinary teams, negotiating major contracts and championing public cloud and event-driven architectures. Comfortable in high-pressure, mission-oriented environments, he blends defence studies and engineering foundations to align technology change with operational resilience. Notably, his background includes directing Army ICT change programmes and authoring work on cyberspace implications for UK security, reflecting a rare mix of operational, strategic and technical perspectives.
