Top SchoolJames Lendrum is a Manchester-based Technical Director with eight years of hands-on experience building and leading web application teams at One iota, progressing from developer to head of technology and now directing technical strategy. He combines product-level planning, client-facing technical consultancy, and day-to-day engineering leadership across multi-disciplinary teams, with a strong background in ecommerce, retail-facing apps, and large-scale infrastructure. Comfortable writing specs, recommending technologies, and overseeing implementation, he has a track record delivering hybrid apps, instore kiosks, and interactive digital signage for major retailers. His MSc and BSc in Computer Science from Durham underpin a pragmatic approach to engineering and mentoring, and he still digs into code and architecture despite senior responsibilities. Quietly selective about external outreach, he focuses on long-term technical direction and resilient, production-ready solutions.
