Top SchoolJames Naftel is a senior engineering manager based in Suwanee, Georgia, with nine years in hands-on leadership roles building secure, scalable trading and cloud systems. He currently leads OTC derivatives and trading tools at FalconX, having previously launched a startup-like product internally and driven cross-team platform and security initiatives. James blends deep technical experience in backend systems (Go, Python, Java), cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Kubernetes), and CI/CD optimizations with a proven track record of cost and performance improvements. He has led security programs and championed secure development practices at scale, reducing vulnerabilities and shaping incident response and audit processes. His background spans enterprise product strategy through to low-level engineering, giving him a rare combination of product sensibility and operational rigor.
