Top SchoolJames Noraky is a Senior Software Engineer with 16 years of experience building large-scale datacenter networking systems for ML at Google, where he designs topology and traffic-engineering algorithms to reduce congestion and total cost of ownership. He holds a PhD in EECS from MIT and has a strong research pedigree in energy-efficient sensing, having developed low-power time-of-flight imaging algorithms and systems for mobile and embedded devices. His career bridges deep research and production engineering—from real-time physiological monitoring and robotic imaging to deploying traffic-aware datacenter fabrics. Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, he combines systems thinking with algorithmic rigor to tackle performance and efficiency at scale, and brings unusual domain crossover experience applying signal-processing techniques to networking and sensing problems.
