Top SchoolJames Singleton is a Senior Software Engineer with 12 years building graphics-rich newsroom tools and media systems at Bloomberg, combining front-end finesse (React, Svelte, WebGL) with back-end services in Node, Go, and Rust. He designs interactive editorial experiences and reliable media pipelines—FFMPEG, WebAudio and MIDI among his toolset—bringing product-minded engineering to fast-paced newsrooms. Prior roles leading web development at Red Bull Music Academy and editorial writing give him a rare mix of technical craft and storytelling sensibility. Based in New York, he also performs as a drummer, which informs his intuitive sense of timing and rhythm in both UI/UX and system design.
