Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolJames Turley is a seasoned full-stack engineer with 12 years' experience, based in London, who leans toward back-end systems, functional programming, domain-driven design and infrastructure/devops. He blends a developer’s curiosity with a humanities background (BA in English Literature and an MA in Critical Methodologies), which informs his clear thinking about system design and trade-offs. Pragmatic and opinionated, he prefers variety over one-language monoculture and enjoys experimenting with languages like Rust alongside JavaScript. Not actively seeking roles, he contributes thoughtfully to projects and teams, bringing a dry wit and a taste for well-architected, maintainable systems.
