Top SchoolJamie Lentin is a seasoned software engineer and director with 26 years' experience designing content management and bespoke web solutions, particularly using Plone and other open source technologies. He founded Shuttle Thread Limited to deliver Plone-based sites and architectures for clients like Lime Pictures and SOS Children's Villages while contributing back to the ecosystem via Dexterity, Deco and UI work. Former BBC principal and senior engineer, Jamie has architected enterprise CMS integrations with Alfresco, led prototyping toolkits and drove QA and BDD test strategies across high-profile projects. His background in mathematics and computation (BSc Imperial College; MSc Manchester) underpins a pragmatic, test-driven approach to data migration, pipeline automation and multimedia processing. Notably, he combines hands-on engineering with consultancy skills—moving between deep code contributions and shaping architecture and process for large organisations.
