Top SchoolJamil Karami is a Technical Project Lead with 9 years of hands-on software engineering experience, specializing in backend development with Java and Python and a strong focus on scripting and automation. He holds a bachelor's and master's in Software Engineering from the University of Balamand and has delivered production systems across finance and insurance, including configuration and environment management tooling at Murex and lending products at Rabobank. Comfortable working with legacy and greenfield code, he combines day-to-day development with release automation and CI/CD improvements that reduced manual effort. A lifelong coder who started programming at age 12, Jamil maintains hobby projects (notably a community Discord chatbot on his GitHub) and keeps current with new technologies. Fluent in English, French, and Arabic, he pairs technical depth with fast, clear communication—literally typing at up to ~140 WPM. Now based in Eindhoven, he leads cross-functional teams to turn requirements into reliable, maintainable software.
