Senior🎓
Top SchoolJan Eide is a pragmatic senior software advisor with 30+ years in systems and 11 years in senior roles, specializing in opinionated server-side architecture, microservices, messaging, and API design. He has led tech teams and product efforts—from building Buypass Code 2FA and real-time ad matching to driving integration and ESB initiatives—bringing strong OO modelling, DDD, TDD and CI/CD discipline to enterprises like NAV IKT and Buypass. A hands-on mentor and certified Scrum Master, he focuses on code quality, observability, and pragmatic use of Spring, Kafka, Kotlin and container orchestration while challenging the status quo. His background spans research, telecoms and large public-sector systems, so he blends deep technical craftsmanship with practical experience in PKI, EAI and complex integrations. Outside work he’s addicted to cycling and whisky, and he politely declines recruiter approaches.
