Top SchoolJan Mader is a seasoned IT manager and hands-on systems specialist with over 25 years running his own IT service and nine years in senior roles at proALPHA, currently leading Mission Control Support. He combines deep operational expertise across proALPHA applications, ServiceNow, monitoring stacks (ICINGA/Nagios, Check_mk), virtualization (VMware) and mixed OS environments (Linux, Windows, macOS, iOS). As a former team and department lead he blends technical troubleshooting with service management and process leadership, improving reliability for enterprise customers. Jan’s background includes long-term support and application backoffice responsibilities, giving him rare insight into both product-facing support and internal IT operations. Based in Kaiserslautern, he is comfortable running both customer-facing initiatives and the day-to-day infrastructure that keeps businesses running. An owner-operator since 1998, he brings entrepreneurial drive and pragmatic problem-solving to complex, multi-vendor environments.
