Senior🎓
Top SchoolJan Poctavek is a Cloud Architect with 12 years of hands-on experience designing and automating resilient, high-performance infrastructure across hybrid and public clouds, datacenters and bare-metal environments. He blends a PhD in Telecommunications Engineering with deep systems expertise—from low-level OS/kernel work and 400Gbps networking to Terraform, Kubernetes and secrets management—helping organisations translate complex requirements into production-ready platforms. He has led cloud platform builds, PoCs and automated documentation pipelines, and has a track record of solving obscure interoperability and scalability corner cases. Known for rigorous analytical thinking, Jan often surfaces subtle failure modes early in designs and automates repeatable recovery and observability workflows to keep systems reliable at scale. Based in Bratislava, he pairs research-grade curiosity with practical delivery across vendor ecosystems and large-scale deployments.
