Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolJan Six is a Principal Product Designer with nine years of experience crafting user-centered digital products and teaching UI/UX across Europe. Based in Salzburg, he combines hands-on front-end engineering—demonstrated by contributions to the popular Tokens Studio for Figma plugin—with strategic product leadership at GitHub where he progressed from Senior to Staff to Principal Product Designer. He blends visual communication roots with practical coding skills (React, Tailwind) to ship polished design systems and editor features. Jan has a strong track record mentoring designers and running workshops, having taught Figma and Adobe XD at Werbe Design Akademie. He is comfortable moving between pixel-level UI details and higher-level product decisions, often implementing the UI himself to accelerate delivery. Colleagues describe him as a designer who codes and a pragmatic maker who keeps user needs central to complex tooling.
