Top SchoolJan Słowik is a Head of AI with 11 years of hands-on experience building data platforms, machine learning systems and production ML pipelines across startups and enterprise teams. He combines deep practical knowledge in big data (Spark, Dask, Databricks), cloud-native orchestration (AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, Airflow) and ML tooling (PyTorch, Lightning, Hugging Face) to bridge research and production. His background spans full-stack development to senior big-data engineering roles, giving him a rare fluency from front-end and API layers to scalable data processing and model deployment. Jan’s recent work focuses on continual learning for NLP and leading AI efforts at imprv.ai, reflecting both academic rigor and product-driven delivery. Based in Lower Silesia, Poland, he holds advanced degrees in computer science and artificial intelligence and is comfortable translating complex research into operational systems. An understated strength is his long-running pattern of moving between research and production roles, enabling pragmatic innovation under real-world constraints.
