Senior🎓
Top SchoolJan Tatarik is a DevOps manager with 16 years of experience building reliable, accuracy-first systems across advertising and recommendation domains. Based in Potsdam, he has led Kubernetes migrations, AWS/Terraform infrastructure, and Helm chart development to cut costs and improve operability while managing cross-functional Scala and UI teams. His background in recommender systems, Hadoop/Hive, R and Modern Perl underpins a data-driven approach to production reliability and A/B experimentation. Comfortable in Unix/Linux environments, Jan prefers getting systems right up front rather than shipping half-baked fixes, and he routinely blends hands-on engineering with team leadership. A practical engineer who has moved legacy systems to modern cloud-native stacks, he brings deep experience turning complex data pipelines into robust, auditable services.
