Top SchoolJared Casner is a seasoned technology leader and cofounder with 11+ years building secure, reliable SaaS and marketplace systems and a focus on making infosec practical for MSPs and SMBs. At Blacksmith InfoSec he translates complex compliance and security needs into affordable, operational solutions that reduce emergency incidents and unlock revenue for service providers. His background spans hands-on engineering and executive roles—VP Engineering at CNote (where he led 99.999%+ uptime, CI/CD, and lending platform builds), CTO at Trayt.Health, and leadership positions across healthcare and data startups—bringing product, security, and scaling expertise. Jared pairs technical depth (full-stack delivery, cloud deployments, SOC2/HIPAA experience) with real-world organizational chops—he’s advised startups at Astia and CNote while also managing community and family commitments, proving he can lead audits and school bake sales with equal calm. Based in San Bruno, he blends practical engineering rigor with a founder’s instinct for creating solutions that genuinely fit customers’ stacks.
