Top SchoolJared Volpe is a product-focused founder and designer with 13 years of experience turning ambiguous problems into clear, usable products across startups and large tech teams. As Co-Founder of Sleeve and founder of Niko, he builds tools that improve team communication and decision-making while also offering fractional design leadership through Plainspace to help companies scale design and brand coherently. His background spans hands-on product and UX work at Oxide, Microsoft, CircleCI, Planet, and Leap Motion, where he bridged software, hardware, and brand to shape enduring experiences. Jared pairs design leadership with coding fluency and prototyping chops—comfortable shipping systems, design languages, and operational practices that let engineering and design move faster together. Unusually for a designer, his early career as a geophysicist informs a data-driven, field-tested approach to product discovery and problem framing.
