Senior🎓
Top SchoolJari Hanhela is a Senior Software Designer based in Tampere, Finland, with 12 years of experience building reliable full‑stack applications for public sector and commercial clients. He blends modern front‑end expertise (TypeScript, React, Storybook, PostCSS) with backend Java and a strong functional background in Clojure/ClojureScript, having shipped long‑running projects for Finnish transport authorities. Comfortable across the stack, he pairs pragmatic engineering with a quality‑first mindset—automated testing with Playwright/Cypress and component-driven UIs are recurring themes in his work. He has a track record of open sourcing tooling (notably Clojure libraries) and mentoring through teaching and internal workshops, reflecting a commitment to developer experience and knowledge sharing. An MSc in Information Processing Science underpins his thoughtful approach to architecture and implementation, and his side work in content production shows an ability to communicate technical ideas clearly to nontechnical audiences.
