Summary
👤
SeniorJason Galea is a Principal Front-end Developer with 15 years of experience designing scalable React-based applications and leading UI architecture and team practices from Cairns, Australia. He has a track record of consolidating fragmented frontends into coherent platforms, building reusable component libraries and developer tooling that accelerate delivery and improve DX. At Compono he led ambitious projects such as a unified Candidate UI, an SVG Personality Wheel, multi-language and Text-to-Speech integrations, and drove ISO-aligned security and process improvements. Known for thoughtful, hands-on technical leadership, he mentors engineers, runs POCs to de-risk platform choices, and champions test coverage and e2e robustness. His background spans full-stack work—from Python and Node microservices to Docker and mono-repos—so he bridges product needs and implementation details with practical, scalable solutions.
