Top SchoolJason Gerry is a seasoned cloud-focused Software Engineer IV with over a decade of experience designing, building, running, monitoring, and decommissioning production infrastructure. He has led DevOps and cloud architecture across startups and enterprises—serving in director and principal consultant roles at companies like Verusen, Cox Automotive, and Truist—while emphasizing pragmatic reuse of open source tools rather than reinvention. Comfortable as a developer on the team, he builds developer-facing tooling that accelerates delivery and reliability for engineering organizations. Based in Atlanta, Jason combines deep systems and database roots from earlier Oracle DBA roles with modern AWS-native infrastructure practice, making him fluent across legacy and cloud-native stacks. He brings a practical, audit-ready approach to observability and automation that helps teams move faster without sacrificing operability.
