Jason Grant is a product design leader and design-systems architect with 10+ years of experience building design organizations, shipping production front-end code, and aligning UX to business outcomes. Currently Head of Product Design at Hi Marley, he’s consolidated multiple component libraries into a single accessible design system, introduced code-first Next.js prototypes to replace static handoffs, and led AI-native product experiences. Previously he founded Hypoth to prototype narrow AI products, built Klaviyo’s Ascent Design System and three new teams as the org scaled, and served as an interim VP maintaining design quality across an 80-person organization. Jason blends hands-on design engineering with organizational craft—hiring senior design engineers, creating interview and promotion frameworks, and operationalizing research with a tagged insights repository. He’s taught UX in academia, mentored hundreds of designers, and brings an atypical background in architecture and BIM that informs his systems thinking and documentation-first approach.
