Top SchoolJason Handuber is a Principal Member of Technical Staff and seasoned software and research engineer with two decades of experience delivering AI/ML-driven, production-grade systems across defense, cloud, and healthcare domains. He has a proven track record of turning small DARPA research efforts into $10M deployed solutions—designing the bulk of a 70k+ line Java/Kotlin backend, scaling teams, and achieving rapid ATOs where most projects fail. Equally comfortable in system design, MLOps, and hands-on coding (Kotlin, Java, Python, TypeScript), he blends pragmatic engineering with customer-driven iteration to ship impactful products. Recent roles include leading ML productionization at Amazon and now tackling AI for medical records at Oracle Cerner, while his background in military information operations informs a disciplined, security-first approach. Jason’s knack for squeezing massive performance gains from algorithms (e.g., 8,000% evaluation speedup) and shipping cross-platform developer tooling signals a rare mix of research depth and delivery velocity.
