Top SchoolJason Kemp is a Staff iOS Engineer based in Ottawa with 4 years in senior mobile roles and a long history building high-impact consumer apps and mobile platforms. He has driven measurable product gains—leading review and booking experiences at Tripadvisor that boosted reviews by 2M annually and bookings by 16%—and modernized Shopify’s iOS codebase to help teams ship faster. At Instacart and Shopify he’s worked at scale for merchant- and consumer-facing apps, while his earlier work spans startups and enterprise clients where he led architecture, delivery and teams. A former Warrant Officer, he pairs disciplined, mission-oriented leadership with pragmatic engineering and mentorship. Though his GitHub bio cheekily reads "Wepons," his record shows a knack for translating UX and platform improvements into tangible engagement and revenue wins.
