Jason Lengstorf
Developer-Focused Creative Partner
Portland, Oregon, United States
Summary
🤩
RockstarJason Lengstorf is a developer-focused creative partner and media maker who’s spent over a decade building web experiences and helping developer tools find an authentic voice. Based in Portland, he created CodeTV and Learn With Jason to produce developer-first video content and campaigns for companies like Sentry, Slack, and GitHub, prioritizing longevity and reuse over one-off splashy marketing. He combines hands-on front-end engineering—contributions to high-profile open source projects like Gatsby, Netlify Identity, and graphql-cli—with product and developer experience leadership roles at Netlify and Gatsby. Jason’s work blends technical craft (UI, GraphQL, React) with community strategy and content production, so engineering improvements and storytelling reinforce each other. A pragmatic tinkerer, he’s also implemented UX-focused fixes (mobile input tweaks, routing, SEO, boilerplate tooling) that reveal an attention to developer ergonomics many content creators overlook.
