Top SchoolJason Shultz is a Senior Software Engineer with 12 years of hands-on experience building full-stack web applications, currently leading custom software development at 1905 New Media from his base in Manteca, California. He specializes in Ruby on Rails APIs and GraphQL, paired with modern front-ends in React, Next.js and Vue, and operational expertise deploying systems on AWS with RDS, EC2, Redis and background processors like Sidekiq and RabbitMQ. His background includes building WMS/ERP/CRM solutions, payment and shipping integrations, and real-time GraphQL subscriptions for reporting—work that blends backend orchestration with customer-facing interfaces. Comfortable moving between legacy LAMP stacks and modern JS ecosystems, he’s pragmatic about choosing the right tool for business needs and has repeatedly driven migrations and prototypes that improved throughput and observability. An early entrepreneur who ran his own design and web shop, he brings product-minded engineering and cross-functional collaboration to delivery.
