Top SchoolJason Williscroft is a founder and hands-on architect with over three decades of technical experience that spans naval systems engineering, high-frequency trading platforms, and enterprise data management for major financial institutions. After a career as a Surface Warfare Officer and a Systems Engineering degree from the U.S. Naval Academy, he shifted to product-focused startups and built robust, serverless microservices architectures that scale to millions of users and support PCI-compliant payments flows. He regularly moves between strategy and code—singlehandedly producing production releases across many services each sprint—and has shipped mission-critical systems for clients like Bridgewater, Northwestern Mutual, and Invesco. Now based in Bali, he runs John Galt Services to connect Asian talent with U.S. customers while continuing to build products like VeteranCrowd, an automated, affinity-based rewards platform. Known for pragmatic engineering, test-driven practices, and a knack for turning complex domain requirements into deployable systems, he prefers making things over consulting about them.
