Top SchoolJavier Arteaga is a Ph.D. student at WASP in Stockholm with 11 years of software engineering experience focused on building ultra-reliable distributed systems. His background spans research at KTH’s ASSERT lab, backend engineering of encrypted email services, and contributions to distributed log storage during Google Summer of Code. He brings practical systems programming skills across Go, Node.js, C/C++, and C# from both industry and game development, including a shipped console/PC title. Passionate about software, games, and space, Javier blends academic rigor with product-minded implementation to move research prototypes toward production readiness. Notably, he pairs deep distributed-systems research with hands-on cryptographic service design, reflecting a rare combination of theory and secure, real-world engineering.
