Senior🎓
Top SchoolJavier Cicchelli is a Senior iOS Engineer with 16 years in mobile and a prior decade in web and server-side work, known for delivering over 45 software products and completing 30+ freelance projects. He blends deep Apple-ecosystem expertise (iOS, macOS, tvOS, watchOS, xrOS) and Swift/SwiftUI craftsmanship with full-stack sensibilities, having built everything from payment modules at Mastercard to large retailer features at bol. As a co-founder of Röck+Cöde he regularly acts as tech lead, coach, and hands-on implementer, streamlining delivery pipelines, CI/CD, and cross-platform consistency. He has a strong track record in shipping data-driven experiments, modular architectures, and white-label/native migrations for high-traffic apps, and frequently bridges product, design, and backend teams. Curious and pragmatic, he pairs TDD and performance-minded engineering with pragmatic stakeholder communication and a knack for turning real-world problems into elegant, reusable Apple-centric solutions. Based in Amsterdam, he brings entrepreneurial experience plus deep legacy-to-modern migrations—something that shows up in his ability to modernize long-lived codebases without disrupting users.
