Senior🎓
Top SchoolJay Gupta is a Senior Software Engineer with 8 years of experience building high-throughput backend systems using Node.js, Spring Boot, Python and search/data platforms like Elasticsearch. He has led end-to-end payment and billing systems—designing E-NACH and UPI mandate flows that automate 20,000+ monthly renewals and integrating Juspay/Razorpay to handle 200k+ transactions/month with dramatic reliability gains. Jay routinely optimizes data paths for scale (migrating MongoDB workloads to Elasticsearch to cut dashboard latency by ~90% and enabling 1.2M-record Excel exports in under a minute), and has a track record of stabilizing platforms by resolving critical bugs and re-architecting query layers. Now at SponsorCloud after a strong impact tenure at Onsurity, he combines pragmatic product focus with hands-on engineering to deliver measurable business outcomes. Notably, his work often targets both developer-facing performance improvements and customer-facing reliability enhancements, bridging operational needs with product growth.
