Senior🎓
Top SchoolJaya Venkatesh is a software engineer with eight years of experience building GPU-accelerated data science and AI tooling, currently contributing to the NVIDIA RAPIDS Python ecosystem. With an MS in Computer Science from ASU and hands-on backend experience at Pixxel, she has delivered production-grade APIs, scalable SQL/NoSQL schemas, and cloud-native deployments across AWS, Azure, and GCP using Kubernetes and Terraform. Her work bridges applied ML and remote sensing—she published peer-reviewed research on snowmelt detection from satellite imagery and engineered Dask- and GPU-powered pipelines that cut processing times by over 60%. At NVIDIA she has optimized build artifacts and demonstrated zero-code GPU acceleration for data science workflows, showing a knack for improving developer experience as well as runtime performance. Based in San Jose, she seeks roles at the intersection of accelerated computing, geospatial analytics, and operational ML, and often combines research rigor with production-focused engineering.
