Top SchoolJean Daher is a Mobile Staff Engineer based in Old Toronto with over a decade of hands-on mobile experience and a track record of leading teams to ship and maintain large-scale app fleets. At Varsity Tutors he scaled mobile delivery and operational excellence across 75+ apps, drove CI and crash reduction, and led a team while coordinating product and design. He combines deep technical execution—building apps and SDKs from scratch in Kotlin, Java and Swift—with product thinking honed by running his own profitable mobile consultancy. His background spans startup and enterprise environments, from developing social player features at AmpMe to serving as Scrum Master and documenting SDKs at Anuvu. An MBA and a master’s in software engineering complement his engineering instincts with business and process discipline. Colleagues rely on him for rapid prototyping, pragmatic conventions, and turning greenfield ideas into maintainable production releases.
