Top SchoolJean-william Perreault is a Senior Go Consultant based in Montreal with 12 years of software engineering experience building backend systems, desktop applications, and custom SaaS solutions. He currently consults on mission-critical card lifecycle microservices at National Bank of Canada, focusing on secure REST APIs, observability, and production reliability. As founder of Morébec he architects end-to-end systems across domains—applying DDD, CQRS, event sourcing and pragmatic polyglot stacks—to turn business goals into robust, maintainable software. Known for tackling unfamiliar challenges, he pairs hands-on coding (Go, PHP, Python, C#) with tooling and automation that improve team productivity and operational stability. His background in legacy system customization and tooling at GIRO gives him a practical edge for migrating and modernizing complex codebases while mentoring peers through design reviews and on-call support.
